The National ID Conference
The National ID conference aims to gather top echelon of the government leaders, relevant institutions stakeholders, international partners, and funders. The primary goal of the conference is to inform and bring on board the public, private sectors and Somalia’s partners about the upcoming national population registration, which is scheduled to take place on September 16-17, 2023. Additionally, the conference will facilitate knowledge and experience sharing on how a national ID system can play a pivotal role in shaping Somalia’s state-building process, critical issues and contribute to socioeconomic development.

It provides an invaluable platform for dialogue, plenary session, collaboration, and partnership to ensure the successful implementation and utilization of the Digital ID system in Somalia
